Barry Willmott
Project Manager
I've enjoyed a diverse career in the construction industry that spans over 50 years. During this time, I've successfully project-managed numerous large contracts, some with budgets exceeding £1 million. Additionally, I've been actively involved in property development, overseeing the renovation of numerous houses and apartments across London, Sussex, and even in the United States.
Presently, I find satisfaction in working closely with family members. This allows us to maintain control over all aspects of the contracts we undertake. Over the years, I've come to appreciate that individuals in the building trade can encounter challenges, particularly in property conservation where unforeseen obstacles are common. While these challenges are often unavoidable, proactive thinking and meticulous planning are crucial. Drawing from my extensive experience, I've learned how to navigate these potential pitfalls and mitigate risks.
While experience is invaluable, I also recognize the importance of staying abreast of innovations in the industry. Currently, my focus and passion lie in sash windows—specifically, their repair and restoration. Engaging in the conservation of old windows and replicating existing styles for new wooden windows aligns with my commitment to environmental sustainability, benefiting communities at large.
